Between Threshold Farm and Hayes Farm, on Pound-of-Candles Lane, just downhill of its junction with Bluebell Lane, lies an unofficial passing place. It is on the right-hand side as you start to climb the hill and approach the junction with Bluebell Lane on the left-hand side.

The parish council is considering applying to GCC Highways to get this muddy passing place turned into a formal one. The cost will be in the region of £10k and the parish council would propose a 50/50 cost split with Highways.

Public opinion is sought in relation to this proposal. Comments will be considered at the next parish council meeting which takes place on Monday 13th January 2025 at 7.30pm.
